Wilderness Trip Locations

We've facilitated wilderness canoe trips in Algonquin for over 35 years.  In 2020, we added new locations to serve more groups in more ways.

 Algonquin Provincial Park (Ontario, Canada)

Algonquin Provincial Park is one of the largest and oldest wilderness parks in Ontario. It is well-managed and maintained by the Provincial Park Service. Algonquin is held by many to be the greatest canoe tripping location in the world, as evidenced by a continual flow of international visitors. It boasts hundreds of miles of canoe routes, each with its own personality, length, and degree of physical difficulty. Over the years, we have found the park to be an optimal wilderness environment for the type of learning and intentional relational development we pursue.  More info>>

Boundary Waters Canoe Area (Ely, MN)

The Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCA), is a 1,090,000-acre wilderness area within the Superior National Forest in the northeastern part of Minnesota. There are a lot of similarities to Algonquin, but the permit process, route selection, and navigation are a little different. We've partnered with a seasoned (25 years!) local outfitter to facilitate and serve nonprofit group trips at discounted rates. More info>>
